Holiday movies tend to make deep impressions on us. Maybe it’s because we associate them with the best parts of a special time of year. Or perhaps it’s because they’re something everyone in the family can watch in lieu of choking each other out in front of the mashed potatoes. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation? A Christmas Story? Scrooged? Home Alone? Miracle on 34th Street? White Christmas? The Santa Clause? Elf? And IS Die Hard really a Christmas film?
