TELEVISION

Tuesday 4/22: Star Wars: Andor (Disney+; Drama, Fantasy)

I was apparently the only human not completely entranced by Season 1 of this Rogue One prequel series, which lays out the early days of the Rebellion. It’s back for its second and final season after three years.

Wednesday 4/23: Battle Camp (Netflix; Reality Competition)

Basically the Netflix equivalent of MTV’s The Challenge, 18 participants from shows like The Circle, Love Is Blind, Perfect Match and The Mole compete in various games and deceptions for $250K.

Thursday 4/24: You (Netflix; Drama)

It’s the fifth and final season for Netflix’s intense series starring Penn Badgley’s charismatic killer. Let’s find out what last-minute twist will invalidate the mega-arc, like on Gossip Girl.

Thursday 4/24: Etoile (Prime Video; Drama, Dance)

A new series from the producers of Gilmore Girls and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, featuring Luke Kirby and Charlotte Gainsbourg as two struggling ballet companies in New York and Paris swap lead dancers for publicity, and drama ensues.

Sunday 4/27: Bravo’s Love Hotel (Bravo; Reality, Dating)

Comedian Joel Kim-Booster hosts — and got into trouble for discussing — this new Real Housewives spinoff in which LuAnn DeLesseps (classic RHONY), Shannon Storms (RHOC), and Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby from Potomac date various menses in the hopes of finding true love. And camera time.

Friday 4/25: Until Dawn (Wide; Horror, Thriller)

This video-game adaptation sees a group of young adults investigating the disappearance of their friend, only to find themselves in a hellish Groundhog’s Day scenario where they are murdered and reborn night after night.

Friday 4/25: Winter Spring Summer or Fall (Wide; Romance)

The omnipresent Jenna Ortega stars in this indie romance about a woman with her future all planned, who begins a relationship with a spontaneous man who makes her question everything.

Friday 4/25: The Legend of Ochi (Wide; Fantasy, Adventure)

A young girl is raised to fear mysterious creatures known as ochi, but when she finds wounded baby versions, she sets out to learn more. With Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe.
