Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) and Mark Duplass star as a couple who adopt a girl with a rare form of dwarfism. The new addition to the family turns out to be much more than she seems.

Thursday 3/20: Happy Face (Paramount+; Drama, Crime)

Annaleigh Ashford and Dennis Quaid star in this inspired-by-true-events story of a woman whose serial-killer father reinserts himself into her life, causing her to reexamine not only a closed case but also her own identity.

Thursday 3/20: The Residence (Netflix; Mystery, Comedy)

Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black) plays a detective trying to solve a murder that takes place in the White House, where everyone is a suspect. With Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Lee, Randall Park and Kylie Minogue.

Thursday 3/20: The Wolf King (Netflix; Animated, Fantasy)

In this new YA-oriented adventure series, based on the Wereworld series of books, a commoner learns that he is not only heir to a throne, but also werewolf. Supernatural drama ensues.

Sunday 3/23: Marie Antoinette (PBS; Drama, Historical)

Season 2 of this frothy drama follows the teenage Antoinette as she attempts to navigate the intrigues of the Parisian court, as well as the capricious Louis XIV.

Disney’s live-action remake team sets its sights on the O.G. animated feature, with 1937’s Snow White being brought to life by Rachel Ziegler (West Side Story) as the titular character and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) as the Evil Queen.

Friday 3/21: The Alto Knights (Wide; Crime, Drama)

Barry Levinson directs and Robert De Niro stars as both Frank Costello and Vito Genovese in this film exploring the bitter rivalry between two NYC crime bosses. With Debra Messing and Cosmo Jarvis (Shogun).

Friday 3/21: Magazine Dreams (Wide; Drama, Sports)

This much-delayed film stars embattled actor Jonathan Majors as a competitive bodybuilder who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals of fitness stardom.

Friday 3/21: Bob Trevino Likes It (Wide; Comedy)

John Leguizamo and Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria) star in this film about an unlikely friendship between strangers struck up via Facebook. Inspired by a true story.

Thursday 3/20: Assassin’s Creed Shadows (OS, PC, PS5, Xbox S|X; Action/Adventure)

The 14th game in the Assassin’s Creed series takes the action to 16th Century Japan as you control two different protagonists with wildly different playstyles, a female ninja and a black samurai.

Friday 3/21: Bleach: Rebirth of Souls (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox S|X; Fighting)

The legendary anime series gets a new fighting game in which you play various characters, each with their own specialized sword techniques.
