QUIZ: 2009 Music Videos

BY Eric Rezsnyak

We love a throwback at the Great Pop Culture Debate, and at this point, 2009 is a THROWBACK. Obama had just entered the White House. "Two and Half Men" and "Desperate Housewives" topped the television charts. And Star Trek rebooted in movie theaters with a fresh-faced crew taking on Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise crew. What a time to be alive!

For this week’s puzzle, we’re asking you to identify the music videos from 15 years ago that everyone was watching on this relatively new little web platform called YouTube. A website where literally anyone can post videos of themselves? What a concept!

For one point, name the artist featured in the video. For two points, name the name of the song.
